The practice:
- Community mental health center is seeking a medical director
- Provide oversight of medical services for mental health, chemical dependency, and intellectual/developmental disability clients
- Perform physician intakes and pharmacological management
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to create treatment plans
- Collaborate with case managers, therapists, nurses, and program managers
- Spend some time in both an outpatient setting and a crisis residential unit
- Largely rural population
