Cardiac Intensivist Position in a Major Northeast Medical Hub

Manage high-acuity cardiac patients within a dedicated Medical Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) in a great Northeastern medical community. 7 days on / 7 days off rotating schedule with focused inpatient critical care responsibilities.

The Practice:

• Join a growing multidisciplinary cardiovascular critical care team within a tertiary care cardiac program
• Dedicated Medical Cardiac ICU practice
• Collaborative multidisciplinary shock team model
• Direct involvement in advanced heart failure and cardiogenic shock management
• 7-on / 7-off schedule supports a healthy work-life balance
• Opportunity to teach and mentor Cardiology fellows and Internal Medicine house staff
• Co-manage critically ill cardiovascular patients alongside Advanced Heart Failure specialists
• Manage advanced temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support devices, including Impella and LVAD support
• Must have completion of fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine or combined Cardiology/Critical Care training
• Prior experience in a high-acuity Cardiac or Cardiothoracic ICU environment preferred
