The Practice:

• Established, well-respected primary care practice north of Atlanta seeks a board-certified Internist for a Clinical Review and Workflow Optimization Specialist job
• Role involves mostly non-direct patient care with some limited direct care responsibilities
• Flexible schedule with option to work remotely or in-office as long as daily tasks are completed on time
• Review and interpret lab, diagnostic, and radiology results
• Document interpretation and communicate results via the patient portal
• Follow up with patients by phone as needed
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding labs and other clinical concerns
• Manage appropriate medication refills
• Develop and update EMR order sets and templates to enhance workflow efficiency
• Create and implement standardized follow-up workflows for abnormal results
• Support and lead clinical operations and team coordination
• Stay current with EMR systems and leverage new technologies, including AI, in practice
