Kansas City Metro Critical Care Intensivist Job

3+ years of Cardiac ICU and Pulmonary Medicine experience are preferred for this 100% inpatient role. Located in an energetic heartland metro with over 2 million residents.  

The Practice:

• Board-certification required in pulmonary/critical care medicine
• Join a team of 5 pulmonary critical care physicians with support provided by 24/7 critical care NPs
• 100% Inpatient Role
• 3+ years of Cardiac ICU and Pulmonary Medicine experience preferred
• Incoming physician should be comfortable leading clinical management in a new 10-bed CVICU & 26-bed dedicated Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU)
• ECMO, IABP, and Impella
• Participate in cardiac surgical rounds during CVICU/CSU call rotation
• Comfort managing a variety of complex post-operative cases required
