Pennsylvania Hospitalist Position

Block schedule 7 days on, 7 days off hospitalist position. 12-hour shifts, nights are covered by nocturnists. No OB or peds, no procedures. Code response covered by residents,

The Practice:

• Work with a team of 22 physicians and 16 APPs
• Block schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts
• Nights are covered by nocturnists
• Each physician starting census averages 16-18 adult inpatients per day
• Intensivist Service covers ICU
• No OB or peds
• No procedures
• Code response covered by residents
